Licence

This licence applies to the Excel workbooks, PDFs and other files you buy from the Cadence Standard shop. It does not apply to the free tools on other addresses, which show their own terms.

What you can do

• Use the files within one organisation. One purchase covers one organisation, meaning one company or other legal entity.
• Let your employees and contractors who work for that organisation use them.
• Adapt the files for internal use: change the layout, metrics, labels and examples, add your own branding, and print them.
• Keep copies for backup.

What you cannot do

• Resell, sub-license, rent or give the files away, original or adapted.
• Share them outside your organisation, including by posting them online or to a shared library open to other organisations.
• Use them to build a product or service you then sell or give to others.
• Remove copyright or ownership notices.

If you want to use the files across a group of separate companies, or as part of a training course or consulting work for clients, email us first and we will agree terms.

Ownership

You own your own data and your adapted versions for internal use. We keep the copyright in the original files. The licence is non-exclusive, lasts as long as you follow it, and covers the version you downloaded. Updates are provided only if the product page says so.

Worked examples

Worked examples use fictional companies, sites and people. Any resemblance to real ones is a coincidence.
