Daily Management System: Tiered Huddle Pack
Shift huddles drift into chat, and problems stay stuck at the level that found them.
Who it's for
This is for sites that already hold a start-of-shift meeting but want it to do more. You want a short, standing huddle at the board, a clear route for a problem to climb from shift to department to site, and a record of who owns what.
Built for shift supervisors, team leaders and operations managers on manufacturing and warehouse sites.

Fictional example
The worked example: one fictional depot week
A separate file with a full week filled in for a fictional warehouse depot, Bramley, week commencing 4 May 2026. The names, sites and figures are invented.
- Monday: pick accuracy on one aisle is 96.1% against a 99.5% target. Quality goes amber and is escalated to Tier 2.
- Tuesday: accuracy falls to 94.2% and Quality goes red. Tier 2 freezes picking on the aisle and orders scan-confirm from a buffer location. The confirmation walk finds the board was right: the data feeding it had drifted after a weekend re-slot.
- Wednesday and Thursday: the re-slot is corrected in stages, and Tier 3 adopts a weekend re-slot standard.
- Friday: a full audit passes, the freeze is lifted and all six columns are green.
- Separately, a forklift hydraulic warning is handled inside Tier 1: the truck is removed from service, a reserve truck is used and the repair is done the next morning.
How you'd use it at work
A realistic first week.
- Monday Print the A4 Tier 1 board. Agree the measure behind each SQDCP-I column for your area. Swap in your own metrics where the examples do not fit.
- Tuesday Run the first Tier 1 huddle at the board. Five minutes. Read each column. Anything red gets a name and a deadline before the shift ends. Log it.
- Wednesday Hold Tier 2 for 15 minutes with department heads. Take only the issues Tier 1 could not close, and decide who gets which resource.
- Thursday Do a confirmation walk. Go and look at whether the board matches the floor, and record what you find.
- Friday Run Tier 3, the 30-minute weekly review. Roll up the week and decide what needs site-level help.
